Photos Reveal Shaun White’s Mom is as Quirky as Girlfriend Nina Dobrev

Shaun White and Nina Dobrev are known to go about their “monkey business”. The couple are having the time of their lives after Shaun’s retirement. From Las Vegas to Costa Rica, Nina and Shaun are on an adventure roll.

Thankfully for us, the duo often takes to social media to give us a glimpse into their adventures. And among many things, these photos only prove that Nina Dobrev is a quirky woman who dances to her own beat.

While Shaun could not take Nina to the Oscars because of her prior commitments, he was accompanied by his mother, Cathy White, on the red carpet. Throughout the night, Shaun shared multiple clips and shots from their red carpet moments. And once again, among many things, these pictures prove that Cathy White is no less.

Cathy White – the new cool mom in town

Shaun had a blast at the Oscars with his mom. Indefinitely, Cathy was super proud to accompany her son to the Oscars. The mother-son duo wore matching black outfits, exhibiting some chaotic energy.

From the time they got into the car to inside the venue, Shaun shared everything via his Instagram. Cathy White was really excited to be there, as she met many of her friends, too.

Post Oscars, White shared some shots from the beautiful night on the red carpet. One can spot Cathy having the time of her life, enjoying the night around the stars, playing royal herself.

Photos show her posing with Shaun, wrapped in a tight hug. A hilarious shot also captured Cathy White posing candidly with a statue. In addition, the mom of the 3-time Olympic champion also grabbed a burger at the end of the night.

Basking in her own glory, Cathy White also had an oops moment at the Oscars. She revealed that she accidentally stepped onto Rosie Perez’s dress.

“I stepped on Rosie Perez’s dress and she was like ‘excuse me, excuse me’  and I wasn’t to pay attention and she couldn’t move, she was stuck,” said Cathy White.

However, such incidents are more than common. Shaun White quickly reassured his mom, and they went about the day. Given the events of the day, it is fair to say that Nina and Shaun’s mom, Cathy, might just be best friends after all; courtesy of their larger-than-life attitude and the positive vibes they exhibit. Truly, White is one lucky ducky to have found a partner that resembles the way of life he has looked up to through his mom.
