Rodeo sports, especially bull riding, are notorious for the amount of damage they can inflict upon the riders. Despite this obvious red flag, the popularity of rodeo sports only surges higher and higher. Along with the high amount of risk involved, several people have the urge to experience the thrill of extreme sports.

However, if one would think that only the riders take risks, then they would be terribly wrong. The biggest risk-takers in any rodeo event are the bullfighters. While a rider rides one bull at a time, the bullfighters tackle every bull in an event. A recently uploaded video on social media showcased the guts of an excellent bullfighter. The brave bullfighter put himself between a raging bull and a fallen rider to save the day.

A bullfighter is nothing less than a hero. Bullfighters stay in the riding area from start to finish of every ride. While the crowd follows the celebrating rider after a successful ride, bullfighters silently put the bull back behind the gates. The bullfighters carry this process out for each and every ride. In fact, this isn’t even the hard part of their job. The toughest part kicks in when a rider falls off their bull. The bullfighters have to be quick on their feet and gutsy enough to save the fallen rodeo in this case. Additionally, they get little time to react as the heavy bull keeps galloping.
