It’s very unfortunate to lose your greatest achievement symbols in life. One moment you are the three-time Paralympics gold medalist and the next thing you know, all of your medals are gone. Perhaps it’s hard to explain what Paralympian Jen Yung Lee might be feeling right now after losing his Paralympic golds. However, San Antonio Police Chief has finally come up with some great news in the case of the stolen medals.

As per reports, the three-time Paralympian Jen Yung Lee lost all his gold medals while an unidentified man broke into his Tesla and ran off with his official Team USA backpack. All three of his gold medals from the Paralympics were in the bag. Luckily, the incident was recorded and Yung Lee uploaded the video on Twitter for help.
Police have recovered Jen Yung Lee’s backpack
Making a valuable discovery in the case, San Antonio Police Chief Bill McManus tweeted that Yung Lee’s backpack has been recovered. He wrote on Twitter, “Well, that didn’t take long… looks like we recovered the backpack with the medals!! More on that tomorrow.”

Delighted by the news, the Paralympic champion himself shared the update on his Twitter handle. Though the case remains open.

Lee was part of the US Paralympics champion sled hockey team from 2014 to 2022. His performance as a goalie was exceptional, and he played a vital role in all the victories.
