Dave Portnoy keeps flouting his support to the teams who present fair competition. In recent times, FSU shared a sizable chunk of Dave Portnoy’s support in its matches. He posted speculations or support through his social media posts revolving around the FSU’s movement. However, that couldn’t affect his staunch worship of the Michigan Wolverines.

In the latest development, Alabama made a place in the semifinal berth removing Dave’s favorite Florida State University team from contention. But that news couldn’t come out as his reason for despair.

The 5’10” club invitation does not suit Dave Portnoy

While expressing his mood after the day when FSU was handed rejection from the final four contention for the national NFL title, Dave Portnoy expressed something different. He didn’t inflict his anger on Alabama. Rather, the 5’10” club invitation faced the wrath of the Barstool Sports CEO’s anger. In the caption of his X post, he stated,” This was my day ruiner. Not Alabama.”

In the tweet, the visibly disgusted El Presidente fumed, “Guy stops me, gives me this card. The under 5’10” club clothing for under 5’10” people.”. As per Dave Portnoy, the whole situation took him by surprise as the incident happened when he was spending his leisure time. He outrightly rejected the joining offer as he claimed “I’m 5’10” and a half. Don’t be giving me f****g your 5’10” f****g cards.” However, on the contention of Alabama, Dave Portnoy had a different kind of attitude.

Alabama gains over Florida to reach the semi-final

On Saturday night FSU couldn’t make it to the final four. Dave raised questions on the selection process as his one tweet read,” FSU was 2-0 in the SEC. They also handed LSU their worst defeat of the year. And people wanna keep them out. Insanity.”. Reportedly, the Seminoles received the null moment in the invitation due to their injuries in the quarterback position. Florida State’s Jordan Travis’s absence made the scoring rate sloth as well. That went against them.

However, in that place, the SEC Champion Alabama cut into the table, joining Michigan, Washington, and Texas. Despite their less glittered scoreline (12-1) against Florida State’s clean run(13-0) never faced criticism from Dave Portnoy. Even the El Presidente tweeted, “I currently do not hate Alabama. I’ll let you know when that changes.” But as per the fixture, Alabama will lock horns against Michigan in the semifinal. So fans might wait for the time when Alabama faces attacks from Portnoy before facing his all-time favorite team.
