Gracie Gold published her memoir on the 9th of Feb. The story ghost-written by former New York Times journalist Karen Crouse, was nonetheless overwhelming for the figure skating Olympian who sat to scout through her memories. “It’s not like anything I have done before. It was crazy. It was cathartic, it was fun,” Gold admits to Olympics.com. The star further adds how it was “overwhelming at times… nerve-wracking, but exciting.”

Though the story was hers to tell, Gracie Gold admits she was often stuck in trying to elaborate to best to convey herself. The part also brought along revelations for the Olympian who found herself encountering the many situations she most certainly hadn’t revisited. “Somethings definitely hurt in a way, even though I thought I’d healed from them,” she remarks.
