Legendary surfer Laird Hamilton is unstoppably riding the big waves even at 59. At a stage when most surfers bid goodbye to the sport, Hamilton misses no chance to express his love for surfing. On Earth Day, the big waves surfer dedicated a day to the mighty ocean through his usual extraordinary surfing session. 

The video shared by Hamilton is a treat to the eyes for its spellbinding glimpse of Mother Nature accompanied by his breath-taking surfing antics. Take a look here.

The beginning featured the surfer on his speedboat preparing to take on the waves. Hamilton was seen donning a black surfing wetsuit, clipping a jacket on his waist area. He looked at the beckoning ocean before starting his surf session. 

The next few snaps in the video were dedicated to the majestic works of nature with Laird Hamilton getting chased by giant waves. Moreover, as soon as the high-rising waves touch the reef, Hamilton took a diagonal course and continued showing his surfing brilliance. In one of the instances in the video, Hamilton was followed by spuming waves with a beautiful rainbow forming at the top.

Nevertheless, the video also featured the dense greenery near the ocean with separate shots of high-rising waves. In the truest sense, Hamilton displayed the beauty of the wild. Lastly, it also had a background score of the song Way Down We Go by the pop band KALEO. It perfectly complemented the adventurous theme of Hamilton’s Earth Day post. 

He added a heartfelt message on the special day in his caption. It read, “Happy Earth Day. Mother Nature displaying her perfect work. #teacher #inspiring #planetearth”

The legendary surfer’s love for nature has no end. A month ago, Laird Hamilton had once again expressed his gratitude for the ocean with a cryptic message.

Laird Hamilton perceives surfing to be a form of art. He never participated in championships but nothing can stop the man to explore the depth of the sport. A month ago, Hamilton took to his Instagram to secretly express his fondness for the ocean waves. 

The legendary surfer posted a picture of him standing on a surfboard with a black paddle in his hands. He took a stand-up paddleboarding posture that suggested he was patiently waiting for the waves. He added a cryptic caption with the post, “I’ll be the guy out there waiting. I’m a professional waiter. I wait for waves on the water and I wait for woman on the land. #lucky.”

By the caption, Hamilton indicated that the legend finds solace in waiting for the right waves. He also suggested the importance of patience surfers must have to experience a rewarding surfing experience.
