“Don’t Bring That Bulls–T Here”: Megan Rapinoe Once Lost Her Temper Over a Woman Wearing Donald Trump Mask and USWNT Hoodie

Megan Rapinoe, a star of the USWNT, has attracted much attention for her outstanding abilities on the soccer pitch. The soccer star used to play against boys her age when she was 12. However, because of her outspoken personality, Rapinoe has engaged in several confrontations with political leaders. In contrast, there was a time when a person wearing the USWNT hoodie paired with Donald’s Trump mask caused her to outburst.

Her conflict with former President Donald Trump is quite notable.

The soccer star has always raised her voice against gender discrimination and racial arguments and once snapped at a Trump supporter in 2021. A photo was clicked and shared of someone trying to return home after the insurrection wearing a USWNT hoodie while also dawning a TRUMP 2020 face mask. It caught the world’s attention and caused Megan to put her thoughts forward. 

According to the Daily News, Rapinoe spoke on behalf of her teammates. She said, “Just from a personal standpoint, I feel like I can probably speak on behalf of my teammates. That is not the kind of fan that we will welcome. The U.S. crest is not to be confused with anything that has to do with white supremacy. Anything that has to do with the Trump administration, and anything that has to do with that divisive culture that we saw on the Capitol.”

She added, “So, don’t take any comfort in thinking that the crest is synonymous with that or that the red, white and blue or the stars that we have above it. I saw the picture. I wanna, we want to create and continue to create a place that’s inclusive and diverse for our fans to be and for our players to play in front. Of and for people to watch on TV and for the media to cover. So don’t bring that bulls–t here.”

While she added how she wanted to create a calm environment for everyone, Rapinoe also clarified that she couldn’t entertain such problems. However, this was not the first time someone pointed out an issue regarding Trump.

How this political quarrel began

The feud between Megan and Trump has a long history. The quarrel began when the soccer star supported NFL player Colin Kaepernick and his protest against police brutality. Due to this, Rapinoe kneeled during the national anthem before the match.

In addition, a soccer magazine revealed that raised the question of whether Megan would accept the invitation from the White House. On this, Rapinoe showed her anger, saying, “I’m not going to f***ing White House.” Apart from politics, the soccer star has left her mark on soccer history by winning several Olympic and FIFA World Cup titles.
