The Canucks are going through a hard patch right now. Bo Horvat, their captain, was just traded to the New York Islanders. A major blowback occurred when coach Bruce Boudreau was replaced by Rick Tocchet. It’s been a challenging season for the club overall, and the on-ice players have had to deal with a lot of changes. Despite all that has happened, Elias Pettersson has a few words for this teammate, about whom he has conflicting emotions.
In the interview, Elias Pettersson says, “On the ice, he is a skillful player but he’s a I don’t know if emotional is the right word and sometimes he gets too hot-headed. But, he cares a lot and just wants to win and we had our differences maybe in some games but I mean he’s a teammate that I respect.”

“I like the part where petey was mocking miller and kuz laughing.”
“This is the hockey equivalent of someone breaking up with their partner and saying, ‘it’s not you, it’s me.'”
“The guy gives a s***, can’t say that for the majority of them… there’s a reason the PK and shot blocking is last place in the league. Horvat was the captain and key piece on one of the worse penalty kills in history during his tenure… we need that part of the game figured out”
