The Vancouver Canucks sent Bo Horvat to the New York Islanders. The trade was done in exchange for forwards Anthony Beauvillier and Aatu Raty and a conditional first-round selection in the 2023 NHL Draft on Monday. The Islanders made the move before the NHL’s March 3 trade deadline. The organization hopes the center will boost their chances of making the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Islanders now sit in sixth place in the Metropolitan Division, two points behind the Pittsburgh Penguins.

In the interview, Bo Horvat says, “Four plus one is five, and four minus one is three, so that’s what I’m going with right there. So yeah, it’s kind of a little something that came up. We, my wife and I came up with and that’s what we’re gonna go with.”
