His wrestling career is hanging by a thread since he has yet to find a school to continue with his collegiate wrestling career. Despite that, the wrestler found a way out.

These days, AJ is making waves throughout social media for taking baby steps towards MMA. He has been adding social media posts, hinting about switching to MMA after Iowa Hawkeyes wrestling does not reveal anything about his recruitment in the roster. Greg Jones, the head wrestling coach at MMA gym Kill Cliff FC, dropped AJ Ferrari’s latest snapshot in the UFC realm. Jones recently took to his official Twitter account and posted a video of Ferrari displaying his prowess in the well-known fight club. Along with a short video clip, Greg Jones Penned, “#thatgym”. In the clip, Jones was seen motivating Ferrari during the fight in the practice arena. Interestingly, Jones himself is 3x NCAA champion. Jones’ post comes after AJ Ferrari recently started testing the UFC waters.

In his first post that shook the world, Ferrari threw a question to his fandom a few days back. “Should AJ Ferrari give up on the liberal snowflake “Christina loving” industry of NCAA Wrestling and USA Wrestling and go into the real alpha male industry of MMA!!?” Ferrari asked on his X post. Just after that, he posted a statistic that shows that wrestling has given UFC the most number of champions. After all this, Coach Greg Jones’ post only adds to the anticipation.
