Well, although Elor won both her rounds 6-0 and 2-1, she left the mat with a bloody nose. As was evident in the video Elor shared, at some point in the bout, the 20-year-old had a collision with Molinari. The impact did injure her nose significantly and blood was seen oozing out. But Elor showed her composure and fought through the pain to clinch her coveted Olympic berth.

Elor was spotted with a cotton swab in her nose to stem the bleeding as her hands were raised. The 20-year-old’s red-hot form is definitely a welcome sign for Team US. Meanwhile, apart from being the best in what she does, Amit Elor also shared her opinions on wrestling as a sport recently.
