A two-time NCAA champion, Vincenzo Joseph initially joined Arizona State University as a wrestling recruiting and coaching staff coordinator. Eventually seeking his passion for the sport, he transitioned into competitive wrestling himself. Now, as a representative of ASU’s Sun Devils Wrestling, he is preparing to return to the mat for the upcoming Last Chance Qualifiers.

With two NCAA titles at 165 lbs in 2017 and 2018, he boasts three NCAA finals appearances overall, all with Penn State. He has also been featured on numerous Team USA Wrestling rosters. Notably, he achieved a career-best with 14 pins during the 2018-2019 season. As a four-time All-American wrestler, he is now prepared to give his best in the upcoming match. This update was recently announced by a renowned opinion leader in the wrestling industry.

Sun Devils champion all set for comeback on the wrestling mat

A wrestling enthusiast, podcast host, and the owner of a digital agency Basch Solutions, Justin Basch recently posted on X about the return of his favorite wrestling star of all time. The comeback of Vincenzo Joseph to the mat at the last chance qualifier rounds, as his post says, is due to be telecasted after a few weeks on the 7th of April 2024.

Ready to compete at the US Men’s Freestyle, Vincenzo Joseph is set to grab the 74kg category title in the upcoming wrestling qualifying round. The Sun Devils Champion has previously been known for notching 159 career dual meet points and a 33-4 all-time score in dual meets.

Preliminary selection for the Grand Olympic Games

Scheduled at the beginning of April 2024, Vincenzo Joseph aims to have a return trip to the top of the podium, which is primarily his ultimate goal. Traveling from the Stanford wrestling program to the ASU horizon, his training with Mark Perry’s Sunkist Kids Wrestling Club foresees more opportunities coming his way ahead of the Paris Olympics.

The first runner-up at the Big Ten Championships and an All-American runner-up in the NCAA Championships, he in his junior season emerged as a good contender against his opponent by delivering decent scores back then. With his latest, hopes are high to witness more of his talent in the upcoming ‘Last Chance Qualifier’ season.
