Bo Bassett has already made it to Team USA and dons the national team’s colors across multiple competitions. The young wrestling sensation won the 2021 U17 World Championship and also won the Super 32 and Ironman Championship in 2022. Wrestling Mindset recently uploaded a reel on its official Instagram page where Bassett gave a glimpse of his elite winning mindset.

Bo Bassett said, “We have that confidence when we go out there and we know that. So the week going into it, we’re thinking about it a lot. Right, we’re not putting too much pressure on ourselves like, ‘Oh! It’s Super 32! We have to go win this.’ Like, you know, it’s do-or-die type stuff. It’s not like that.” These words were taken from a clip of the video interview Wrestling Mindset had with the world champ.

This mindset allowed the wrestling star to win several competitions and get nominated for the Sports Kid of the Year by Sports Illustrated Kids. Moreover, Bassett is one of the five finalists in the run for the award. This achievement doesn’t just put him on the same stage as LeBron James, but Eli Manning and Bryce Harper as well. It’s high time the world recognized his brilliance.

Both LeBron James and Bo Bassett enter their matches with tremendous levels of confidence and outplay everyone else. Interestingly, Bassett also revealed the source of his LeBron James’ level of confidence, which is an apt allusion or comparison to make.
