U.S. wrestling star Jordan Burroughs isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. After putting on a stellar performance at the U.S. Wrestling World Team Trials, he’s ready to take the bull by the horns and compete at the World Wrestling Championships. At 36, he faced a tough setback earlier this year when he missed out on his dream of competing in his third Olympic Games, losing 0-3 to Jason Nolf and getting knocked out on the first day of the trials.
But instead of letting that disappointment get him down, he’s determined to make a comeback and get back in the saddle. With fire in his belly, he declared, “I’m gonna use heavy hands,” as he set his sights high for the competition ahead.
USA Wrestling recently shared an inspiring video on their YouTube channel titled “Jordan Burroughs is Pursuing Another Senior World Championship Gold Medal.” In the interview, when asked what fans can expect from him in an upcoming competition, i.e., the senior world title, his reply was savage!
