The Iowa Hawkeyes and the Iowa State Cyclones have been wrestling rivals since 1916. The fact that both Iowa universities lie in proximity creates an even more charged-up atmosphere when both sides clash with each other. However, in an unusual turn of events, the Cyclones’ head coach had something great to say about Hawkeyes’ Brands brothers.

According to a video uploaded on X, Dresser said, “You know, there’s not two more guys out there in the whole wrestling world that are more passionate about winning. So, you know, we know that they’re going to be ready. Their staff is going to be ready. I mean, that’s just the way they are.”

While Dresser didn’t hesitate to appreciate his rival counterparts, Iowa Hawkeyes’ head coach Tom Brands had also indulged in an act of camaraderie recently. In fact, Brands was willing to directly question the Department of Justice for the sake of both ISU and University of Iowa students.
