The AJ Ferrari question has been hovering in the quarters of NCAA and Iowa Wrestling for a very long time. Despite AJ making so many efforts and knocking on so many doors, he remains out of any Division 1 team. But, while the question of his collegiate career remains suspended, Ferrari has asked a question of his own to his fans.

Mr. Fast Twitch has been struggling to reboot his college wrestling career ever since he was ruled out because of an injury in 2022. The most frustrating factor for AJ Ferrari in this process is the fact that he is struggling despite being the 2021 NCAA Champion. Now it looks like the wrestler is heavily upset with the attitude shown to him by Iowa Wrestling. Out of that, he seems to be giving a thought to quit a college career altogether while switching to MMA.

AJ Ferrari recently added a tweet to his official X account. The tweet carried the caption, “Should AJ Ferrari give up on the liberal snowflake “Christina loving” industry of NCAA Wrestling and USA Wrestling and go into the real alpha male industry of MMA!!? @KillCliff_FC.”  This response comes after Iowa Wrestling has maintained absolute silence regarding AJ’s status.

The tweet also carried an image where Ferrari could be seen in the gymnasium of Kill Cliff FC, which is a renowned MMA training academy. AJ has been getting deadpan responses from Iowa Wrestling after his fiasco at the Soldier Salute event. However, despite apologizing for his behavior, the Hawkeyes are still giving him the silent treatment.

Notably, everything was almost done, according to AJ before the incident. Moreover, he has also been academically accepted into the University of Iowa but is not a part of Iowa Wrestling yet. Does this mean that we may soon see Mr. Fast Twitch move to the octagon from the mat?

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar was a Minnesota Golden Gophers wrestler before becoming an MMA fighter. While several wrestlers from the NCAA have made it to MMA like Ryan Bader, Mark Coleman, Randy Couture, and many more, not everyone stands out like Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate dominated the Octagon at UFC with the force behind his strikes, his wrestling work, and his speed. AJ Ferrari seems to have this combination within him as well.

AJ Ferrari may have been out because of an injury but has maintained his strength and his physique. The 197-pounder had defeated Zach Glazier of Iowa Wrestling at the Soldier Salute despite being an inactive wrestler. Moreover, the quick wrestler has aptly given himself the moniker Mr. Fast Twitch.
