Along similar lines, the same has been posted by the coach. On 7th Nov, Grant Leeth took to his Instagram handle and added a new post to his X account. Accompanying a link to the Texas article, Leet with joy added the caption, “Friends, family, and wrestling fans, As many of you know, I recently took a head coaching job for Tarleton State University’s NCWA wrestling team. Tarleton State University has agreed to launch a fully funded Division 1 wrestling team, as long as we can hit the fundraising goal that they have put on us.” He further added, “I cannot express how exciting it is to be a part of this effort”.

Coach Leeth is a dynamic All-American athlete. With a wealth of experience as an assistant coach at Stanford, he is all set to lead the charge. Adding to the coaching prowess is an accomplished assistant from Army West Point. Together, they will guide Tarleton State’s NCWA team through a series of tournaments and duals, engaging with programs across the southwest region, including NCWA, NCAA, and NAIA.

The NCWA Fast Start Plan’s Unprecedented Approach

What distinguishes this initiative is its alignment with the NCWA Fast Start Plan, a strategic blueprint designed to accelerate the establishment of a competitive Division I program at Tarleton State.
