Winning medals in almost every weight class, Team USA showed once again exactly why it’s considered a wrestling powerhouse. For Olympic medalist Adeline Gray, Acapulco was the perfect gateway for the Games later this year. After winning the bronze medal in the 76kg category, Gray made sure to make the opportunity count. A fabulous run in Mexico for Gray
Adeline Gray was poised as one of the biggest stars to represent the USA at the Pan American Championships. After two successful rounds, however, Adeline was met with fierce resistance at the women’s 76kg quarterfinal match. Adeline was handed a resounding 10-0 defeat by Ecuadorian Genesis Reasco and had to set her eyes on the repechage match after the gold medal became an elusive task at the tournament. Despite the setback, the Olympic wrestler came back strongly and down Brazil’s Meiriele Charamba with a 10-0 win for herself.
