The NLWC wrestlers regularly dominate the NCAA Division 1 Wrestling and add more gold medals to Penn State’s coffers. The same effect is seen in global contests when legendary wrestlers like David Taylor triumph over all international competition. In fact, David Taylor recently mentioned in his podcast that the US can win almost all gold medals if they just send the NLWC team to Paris.

Justin Basch re-echoed Taylor’s words via a tweet that said, “How many Olympic Medals does the @NittanyLionWC win in the 2024 Olympics if they enter as a country? 57 Gilman, 65 Zain/Lee, 74 Nolf/Dake/Carter, 86 Taylor/Brooks, 97 Snyder, 125 Kerk.”

Basch is a revered wrestling analyst known for his ‘Baschmania Podcast’ that covers wrestling events on all competitive levels. This adds another major boost to the NLWC wrestlers who are already dominating the Olympics. Interestingly, the NLWC also trains wrestlers who haven’t graduated from Penn State University.
