As the trials for the 2024 Paris Olympics come closer, wrestlers are on their toes to get themselves onboard the national convoy to Paris. In this rush, it is easy to develop tunnel vision and lose sight of why one is actually wrestling. Addressing this very deficit, a Team USA wrestling star has penned some inspirational words to get out of this trap.

Seth Gross is an American wrestling star who has represented Team USA in several international contests. While Gross has already donned the national singlet many times, he now wishes to do the same in Paris. According to a recently uploaded social media post, Gross recently came up with a motivational message for everyone as he and his fans gear up for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Seth Gross posted a tweet from his official X account that said, “Chase what makes you PASSIONATE!! When you genuinely love what you do, you tap into an abundant source of energy and inspiration, making it easier to persevere through routine tasks and frustrations.” Gross’ maxims targeted the root of the problem in training for competitive events as a wrestler.

Providing a solution for this, he said, “Without passion, it becomes all too easy to give up when boredom or obstacles arise. But when you pursue challenges that ignite your passion, work feels like a labor of love.” Gross enlightening words come days before he enters the Fort Knox contest for senior wrestlers to qualify for the Olympic trials.

Seth Gross has etched his name in the 65kg category and is looking forward to qualifying for the trials of the 2024 Olympics. Gross has had some dips in his career in the past, but is currently an assistant wrestling coach for the Wisconsin Badgers. While his journey to the trials sounds like a personal conquest, another 3x Wrestling Champion will be making his way to Fort Knox for the very same reason.

Spencer Lee and his surprising participation in the Fort Knox qualifier

While Lee may not be needing this tournament to clinch a berth for Paris, he definitely needs it to sharpen his edge. Spencer Lee made his comeback to competitive freestyle wrestling this year in April. His last competitive stint dates back to December 2019, which is a very big gap. Lee is still competent enough to win the Bill Farrell Memorial International.
