Should AJ Ferrari give up on the liberal snowflake “Christina loving” industry of NCAA Wrestling and USA Wrestling and go into the real alpha male industry of MMA!?” This is what Mr. Fast Twitch asked his fans in a tweet on 23 January. While this appeared like a shot in the dark before, it is almost official news now. Ferrari is jumping ship to MMA, and for good reason.

The 207-pounder had posted this tweet while after a training session at the KillCliff FC. AJ Ferrari posted another picture from the same venue recently where he was seen with WWE Superstar Gable Stevenson and MMA fighter Logan Storely. But, while many are thinking that AJ is just getting started, they are way off the truth. In fact, Ferrari has been training in mixed martial arts for a very long time now.

AJ Ferrari keeps himself active on social media and regularly posts videos of his training sessions on his socials. While weightlifting and wrestling technique videos were common for Mr. Fast Twitch, he suddenly started uploading videos of him boxing. The first video posted by Ferrari on X, where he was in an octagon, arrived on 3rd September 2023.

This was followed by several uploads where AJ Ferrari teamed up with coaches of different fighting styles and slowly improved himself. His initial videos saw people pointing out flaws in his technique. But AJ soon picked up and followed with dedicated drills to improve his form and body movement. In fact, he also gave a 30-day report wherein he named the different styles he picked up.

After the first month, AJ Ferrari uploaded a tweet that said, “Now Officially 30 Days Out (1 month) since beginning the process of learning Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and BJJ. And my hips (power bombs) are just starting to get opened up and develop.” This made it clear that AJ is into MMA.

However, nobody, not even Ferrari, might have thought that this training would be put to use for a career switch. Today, AJ Ferrari has several tweets displaying his slow but steady growth in mixed martial arts and now, he has also joined a dedicated training academy. Mr. Fast Twitch will now look forward to perfecting his techniques and improving the speed of his strikes.

Currently, it is quite evident that Ferrari is too far from the lighting fast striking abilities needed in MMA. But AJ Ferrari does have the advantage of being a strong and crafty wrestler. This will help him with both groundwork and stamina, which are two important elements in MMA. Do you think AJ has what it takes to make it big in mixed martial arts?
