According to reports, before being a trainer for Olympic champions, Coach Cal was an Applied Mathematics teacher. The role is speculated to have influenced the methods Calavitta adopts today for his athletes. “What we do there is more scientifically sound than any other facility in the world. Everything has been analyzed. Everything has been threshold capacitated. The difference, it’s because of the science,” Cal reveals.

The training facility names metabolic testing, biomechanics analysis, and nutritional profiling as some of the methods it adopts.
