After weeks of waiting patiently for a collegiate career revival, AJ Ferrari is now on the path of pursuing an MMA career. The 207-pounder was initially dropping hints about changing his line of combat sports. But now, it seems that AJ has his mind set on making a career switch. Ferrari has already started to heavily invest in this direction as well.

AJ Ferrari has already signed up with a training academy to add the vigor of more fighting styles to his already great wrestling skills. But, he isn’t limiting himself to just that. A new social media post he made showcased him sharing the frame alongside several notable NCAA wrestling champs. Interestingly, one of AJ’s training pals also included a renowned WWE Superstar.

AJ Ferrari tweeted a new photograph on his official X account. The tweet carried the caption, “Old-School Money and New-Money USA Wrestling Squad showing out at MMA practice @KillCliff_FC. SixTrophies Shown.” The photograph in the tweet showed Ferrari standing alongside WWE Superstar Gable Stevenson.

The picture also showcased 3x NCAA champ Greg Jones and MMA star Logan Storley. Including the 2021 NCAA Championship of AJ Ferrari, and Stevenson’s two NCAA titles, the wrestlers had six combined NCAA titles between them. Interestingly, while Stevenson is a WWE fighter, he is also an Olympic gold medalist.

This high-profile circle of AJ Ferrari hints at the seriousness Mr. Fast Twitch possesses towards an MMA shift. But, is this just an impulsive decision by Ferrari? A recent social media update shared by the 207-pounder says that it is not. AJ doesn’t just want to enter the Octagon but rule it.

One, AJ Ferrari wants to become a champion, just like he was once back in the NCAA. However, he wants to be a champion in the UFC. This is a very ambitious goal, since not everyone gets an entry in the UFC, let alone getting their hands on a championship. Will Mr. Fast Twitch be able to accomplish this goal he has set for himself?
