The MMA transition journey is going hard for AJ Ferrari and he is taking things very seriously right now. The 2021 NCAA Wrestling Champion has lately been doing more than just dabbing his hand in mixed martial arts. Mr. Fast Twitch has been actively posting about his sessions online as well.

While AJ Ferrari was initially not taking the unresponsiveness shown by the Iowa Hawkeyes well, he has now bounced back very strongly. A new social media upload from Mr. Fast Twitch showcased him gear up and show up for training once again. In fact, the footage showcased him eying an all-around mastery of MMA techniques.

AJ Ferrari nosedives into preparation for a new career line

AJ Ferrari tweeted a new video to his X account as he hit the octagon to train once again. The tweet carried the caption, “Still working on mastering the basics of boxing. Ferrari could be seen practicing his boxing punches while constantly moving around in the ring. It is clear that his punches need more speed and vigor behind them. However, AJ Ferrari has mentioned that he’s in no rush and is focused on moving forward one step at a time.

The video also displays that while AJ Ferrari has joined the KillCliff FC, he is also training separately. The videos he posts and a statistic he shared saying wrestlers take the top spot at UFC convey how serious he is. However, a new online development has put a stamp on the commitment AJ has to become an MMA fighter.

A move of dedication and a move of smartness

AJ Ferrari recently changed his X bio. Right after writing that he’s an NCAA wrestling champ, Ferrari has written, “Future World MMA Champ.” This unveils that AJ isn’t just doing this because he doesn’t have many options, but because he has his mind set on MMA.

While he couldn’t become an Iowa Hawkeye, AJ is making perfect use of his status as a University of Iowa student. The 197-pounder is smartly using the gym of the Hawkeyes instead of giving it up out of spite or frustration. Considering his recent reaction at the Soldier Salute, this is a wise approach from Ferrari. Will AJ be able to become a breakout MMA star with his dedicated training?
