Kyle Dake is among the best contenders on the Spartan Combat team. To showcase the dominance of the team’s incredibly talented athletes, Spartan Combat took to its Twitter account and posted a video clip of Kyle Dake. Along with the video, they penned, “2024 outlook @kyledake444.

In the same interview, Kyle Dake said, 2024 is a cool year. It’s wild to think that my first one of the team trials was in 2012. So 12 years later, I won the weight 21. Didn’t have the same success that I wanted, but we move on. You know, then I was able to go through 21, win the world championship, 22 win the world. And then last year, this came up a little bit short… I’m looking to right that wrong. Not that it’s a wrong. It was a part of my path, but there’s something new that I can chase and keep me motivated to go get it. That Olympic gold medal is kind of everything that I’ve been working for. And I’m excited for the opportunity to go back out there and try to earn it.

Back in 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Kyle Dake saw an early-round upset at the semi-final showdown. Eventually, he was introduced to the bronze level match, where he competed in the 74kg weight class. However, Kyle Dake battled back and defeated the opponent wrestler Jeandry Garzon, by 10-0 and claimed his first Olympic Medal. As the team prepares for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics, Kyle Dake is setting his sights on the Olympic Gold.

Kyle Dake made it to secure a spot at the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics by winning a silver medal at last year’s World Wrestling Championships held in Serbia. Kyle Dake added, “And I’m excited for the opportunity to go back out there and try to earn it. There are a lot of good guys in the weight class, but it’s been my weight class, and I still feel like it is my weight class. So I’m going to go out and just compete, compete hard, and do my best. And April is coming pretty quick and I’m really excited about it.

However, as the wrestler was defeated in the finals, he is preparing harder not to let that happen at the Olympic Games. The 2024 Paris Olympics is potentially Kyle Dake’s last, given his age. Therefore, learning from the previous mistake he made at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Kyle Dake is pouring heart and sweat into his preparation. Will Kyle Dake be able to overcome intense competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics? Fans will know in a few months.
