The athletes in this event have given their best and have proved themselves by getting into the 2024 Olympics after clinching gold.

One of the highlights of the event is that during the USA men’s team play, the US Olympic Team Captain graced the event with his magnanimous presence. The water polo captain was more than elated with the stunning performances given by both the men and women team of USA in the Santiago 2023. Team USA blazed through their wins at breakneck speed, with Tony Azevedo furtively cheering them on.

The USA Water Polo shared a post on their X account where the US team was seen attaining their prized from the one and only Tony Azevedo. The captain is seen handling all the players on their awards and giving a hug with a pat. The USA Water Polo team has shown tremendous effort in their performances in the 2023 Pan Games. With their supreme performance, they attained a spot at the Paris Olympics by defeating Brazil. The triumph was clearly visible on the faces of each and every player. The most honorable thing to happen for the US men’s team was the distribution of prizes after the win, with none other than the champ of water polo himself.

It was an extremely proud moment for the players and the entire USA Team. Tony is the Olympic Team Captain, Olympic Silver Medalist and 5x Olympian. They deserved this honor after a stupendous win by defeating Brazil with a 17-7 and claimed gold. This is the straight eighth Pan American title for Team USA. Not just the men’s team, the women’s team also gave an incredible performance at the Pan American Games. We doff our hats to Team USA.

The performance of USA Water Polo women’s team at the Santiago 2023

The US women’s water polo team gave a show worth watching at the Santiago 2023. From the very initial stage, their eyes were set on the Paris Olympics. They beautifully held their ground and defended their title this year as well. They defeated Canada with a score of 20-11.

The US just needed five goals each from the athletes: Rachel Fattal and Jenna Flynn. The US women’s team has secured this title for the sixth time in a row. The women’s team has been a participant of all the water polo event of the Olympics, since this event was added in 2000. Since then, they have clinched gold three times and are now looking forward to their fourth gold in the Paris Olympics.
