Although the team fell short of taking over team Nebraska in the last few games, it managed to make a remarkable comeback. Recently, it has not only secured its position in the championships but also defeated team Purdue with a remarkable score.

As per the recent match held yesterday, team Wisconsin entered the arena to compete with team Purdue. Soon after showcasing remarkable skills on the court, Badgers made it difficult for the opponent team to secure points. A recent tweet by NCAA Women’s Volleyball was captioned as “THE BADGERS PROTECT THEIR HOUSE No. 2 BadgerVB defeats No. 19 Purdue in four sets.”

Although the No.10th ranking team locked horns on the court and made it to 25 points in one of the sets, the team fell short of defending themselves in the other three sets. The Badgers secured a remarkable score of (25, 16, 25, 25), and Team Purdue tried their best to clinch (14-25-18-14).
In addition to this, team Wisconsin not only emerged victorious in the game but also featured some of its gifted players. The major attraction in the showdown was Sarah Franklin, as she individually scored 24 points, contributing to the team total. Consecutively, team Wisconsin not only secured a 3-1 win over team Purdue but also made a comeback.

Although team Wisconsin secured their first place on the rankings, it has slipped to No. 2 in the AVCA Rankings as they lost a past few games to team Nebraska. However, in the last two showdowns, Team Wisconsin managed to make a comeback while defeating the opponent team in the championships.

Currently, Badgers are placed at no. 4 in the NCAA Women’s Volleyball FPI and at no. 2 in the AVCA Rankings.
