Wisconsin Badgers Volleyball Team Stages Epic Comeback to Defeat Purdue After Trailing in a Set on Home Turf

As the NCAA Championships are approaching its end, teams are leaving no stone unturned to secure their places on the board. These enthralling performances by participating teams have put spectators on the edge of their seats to catch every possible glimpse of the game. Similarly, team Wisconsin has made it to the top three spots on the rankings board. 

Although the team fell short of taking over team Nebraska in the last few games, it managed to make a remarkable comeback. In the past few games, Wisconsin’s volleyball team has been making headlines. Recently, it has not only secured its position in the championships but also defeated team Purdue with a remarkable score. 

Team Wisconsin Vs. Team Purdue

As per the recent match held yesterday, team Wisconsin entered the arena to compete with team Purdue. Soon after showcasing remarkable skills on the court, Badgers made it difficult for the opponent team to secure points. A recent tweet by NCAA Women’s Volleyball was captioned as “THE BADGERS PROTECT THEIR HOUSE No. 2 BadgerVB defeats No. 19 Purdue in four sets.”

Although the No.10th ranking team locked horns on the court and made it to 25 points in one of the sets, the team fell short of defending themselves in the other three sets. The Badgers secured a remarkable score of (25, 16, 25, 25), and Team Purdue tried their best to clinch (14-25-18-14). 

In addition to this, team Wisconsin not only emerged victorious in the game but also featured some of its gifted players. The major attraction in the showdown was Sarah Franklin, as she individually scored 24 points, contributing to the team total. Consecutively, team Wisconsin not only secured a 3-1 win over team Purdue but also made a comeback. 

How Team Wisconsin Made a Comeback?

Although team Wisconsin secured their first place on the rankings, it has slipped to No. 2 in the AVCA Rankings as they lost a past few games to team Nebraska. However, in the last two showdowns, Team Wisconsin managed to make a comeback while defeating the opponent team in the championships.

Moreover, team Wisconsin has managed to secure their remarkable feat of 21-1-0 in the championship. Currently, Badgers are placed at no. 4 in the NCAA Women’s Volleyball FPI and at no. 2 in the AVCA Rankings. But, Team Wisconsin has a chance to not only take redemption but also to grab the first position from Team Nebraska. The epic showdown of team Nebraska Vs. Team Wisconsin is scheduled to take place on 24th November. Will team Wisconsin make it to the top spot while taking redemption?
