The Nebraska Huskers have done it! Ending a 7-year draught, the Huskers have claimed their first outright volleyball title since 2016. With their win over Iowa, team Nebraska is also one of the first teams to automatically qualify for the upcoming NCAA Championships. With a 3-0 clean sweep, the Red Shirts clinched the Big Ten title and are on their way to ending the season on a high note.
Last week, the Huskers dominated the Michigan Wolverines in the regular season in their last home game. The Huskers currently have 27 resounding victories in their regular season and are comfortable with an 18-0 record in the Big Ten. Nebraska’s bold statements following their win over the Wolverines came with some merit and last Sunday proved their worth.
