With some of the biggest names coming out of the coveted program, the Huskers have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. As one of their star players looks to make the 2024 Paris Olympics her last attempt at glory, she’s met with a hilarious tribute by the newer generation of athletes.

Jordan Larson is a name that commands high respect among volleyball fans nationwide. The three-time Olympian is considered one of the elite players to have ever graced the court. Only last month, Larson stated her desire to secure a place in the national team to have another crack at bringing honor to the country. And now, her legacy can also tickle the funny bones.

A recent post on X by the official USA Volleyball account shows how famous Larson is even among the rising volleyball athletes in the USA. Larson was recently scheduled to impart crucial tips to the nation’s up-and-coming volleyball stars, and the players had to show their love for the former Huskers student-athlete in the most amusing way possible. “Big shoutout to 3x Olympian @JordanLarson10 for coming out to the U.S. Women’s National Team Open Program to speak to the athletes!” reads the caption of the post before showcasing how the young players came together to pay their tribute to Jordan.

“Here are some reenactments of fun and iconic photos of her. We hope it works as a thank you!” states the post as it proceeds to present a welcome gift for Larson. The accompanying video shows several rising volleyball stars re-enacting Larson’s iconic moments from her professional days to the best of their capacities.

While some recreated a situation when Jordan took on the referee in contention of a controversial call, another LSU athlete captured Larson’s gold-winning moment in the best way possible. Other national team aspirants were spotted reproducing Larson’s animated facial expressions as she sought to scoop a point in a match. Considering Jordan’s career, it’s only natural that everyone wanted to participate in the video.

After her collegiate career ended, Larson spent a few years overseas, raking up more experience with her new colleagues. Larson became a national sensation after her NCAA title win with the Huskers in 2006. Larson returned to her alma mater years later as a coaching staff to help guide the newer players with her crucial knowledge. While speculations about her entering a new phase of professional career with the Real Pro Volleyball, Larson clarified that her calling lies in Paris.
