Weekly flares are not showing any proportion to stop in the first division of NCAA Women?s Volleyball. Last week saw some major ups and downs. Despite Nebraska pulling a back-to-back top position on the list, some other teams also garnered some nail-bitings to match up even the best ones. Among the list, Purdue came out performing at its best reach. The consistent performance gave them some never-tasted glories. However, the late fiery form still kept them strangled in the same position as last week. But among the tussles, Penn State?s slipping to the 14th position has created much furor.?

Penn State hosted some of the magical moments of the season last week. One was definitely to whiplash the table topper Nebraska in a larger part of the game. That came at the home arena of the Huskers when it saw the largest headcount in the gallery. Nevertheless, the Huskers came out heavily after gifting two sets to the Penn State. But, this did not come as talk among the fans. Rather, social media discussions have hived on a different story regarding Nittany Lions.?

Penn State finds its nemesis in Purdue???????

Some unsettling facts came when the November 13th AVCA Women?s Volleyball Poll rankings spaced Penn State (14) above Purdue (16). The quagmire grasped the fans more when the authority published that both establishments have the same number of wins and losses. However, the Huskers, being the hot favorite, have kept the top position in their bag. The X-post made by Big Ten Volleyball just published the ranking updates of the four clubs. Wisconsin is another club to make into that post. The club has ranked in the third position. However, the post might have insinuated many things regarding the standings of Penn State and Purdue.

The debate started based on a few facts. As it emerged, Purdue came victorious in its two last face-offs with the Penn State. In the November 5th match, the Boilermakers clinched the game in the final set from Penn State. The same thing happened in the October 22nd match between them. Still, the Nittany Lions are pretty above the Boilermakers. That has raged the fans of Boilermakers. One of the fans has thrown a question on this to the Big Ten Conference on X. The handle, @AndrewLuckRetd?s post read, ?Jst keep asking How can PSU be above #PurdueVB after losing to them TWICE? Beating wisc. w/o their best player??. Someone with the handle, @WiggidyWalt couldn’t agree more, ?Not a bad argument??.?

The other ones that have made it into the list

Among the top ten, Wisconsin did not have the luxury of Nebraska, as the club saw some movements in its ranking. It went down to the third position, from its previous holding to the second. The second place did not go vacant lately as Stanford readily upped to the position from its previous fourth ranking. Texas and Wisconsin were on the same page, among others. The late movement in the ranking saw the club settling in 5th from last week?s 3rd position.?

The fans of the Nittany Lions and Boilermakers saw their share of joy for the last few weeks despite the latest ranking standoff. The Nittany Lions are the ones that spoiled the party of Wisconsin. In the home arena of the Badgers, Penn State thrashed them almost clinically. The defeat hovered around Penn State and it lost its second position. Before the match, the Badgers just gifted four sets to different oppositions in their first 15 matches of the season. Camryn Hannah was enough to be heavy on the Badgers on that day. Similarly, for the Boilermakers, Raven Colvin, and Lourdes Myers are the ones who made it in the Big Ten Honors list regularly.?

However, the ranking fiasco between Penn State and Purdue is showing no chance of getting lit off. Fans of Purdue are still finding the reason for the low points of their club.????
