Nebraska Huskers volleyball got Bekka Allick as one of its biggest defensive additions. Allick is the blocking hand of Nebraska’s bastion and ensures that when the ball hits the court, it is on the other side of the net. While the middle blocker has a good hand when it comes to blocking, it turns out that she also has a great basketball shooting hand.

Bekka Allick was sitting in the stands and spectating a men’s basketball match between the Nebraska Huskers and Ohio State. A social media post showcased a Nebraska player missing a free throw. Interestingly, Allick showed what a good shooting form should look like right after the miss. Interestingly, the player who missed the free throw was none other than her brother.

Big Ten Network added a new tweet to its official X account capturing this random moment between the Allick siblings. The tweet carried the caption, “Brother misses FT. Camera pans to sister. Sister shows her shooting form. @bekkaallick5 x @allick_josiah.” Bekka’s brother, Josiah Allick missed the shot when the Nebraska Huskers and Ohio State were at the score 10-11.

The camera luckily caught Bekka making the shooting maneuver from the seating area and discussing it with her friends. Following this, Josiah himself did a practice motion before attempting his next free throw. Thus, the missed free throw resulted in a free lesson for the Nebraska Huskers baller from his younger sister.

Although Josiah Allick missed this free throw, he is one of the strongest players on Nebraska’s roster. Moreover, he usually has a hot hand in shooting and makes 56 percent of his shots from the field. The senior player played for New Mexico before and recently made a transfer to his home university where his sister studies and plays.

While Josiah is a leading player on his team, his sister is also a big part of the Nebraska Huskers Volleyball. In fact, she perfectly complements the digging coverage of Lexi Rodriguez and is a starter on her team.
