Nebraska Volleyball tweeted the image of the latest Nebraska Huskers players Skyler Pierce and Olivia Mauch on its official X account. The tweet carried the caption, “New faces on campus! 🙂 @olivia_mauch @SkyPierce21.” The image showcased Pierce and Mauch sitting together in a hallway on a couch.

Both these athletes have several pictures in the Nebraska Huskers uniform. However, the image showed them wearing Huskers sweatshirts, declaring them official residents of the volleyball program. Skyler Pierce and Olivia Mauch are top-ranking high school athletes who caught the eye of John Cook with their skills.

While Pierce is joining as an outside hitter for the team, Mauch will play the libero position. Thus, the 2024 recruits bring a balance of both offense and defense. Interestingly, these young players graduated early from their high schools to join Nebraska’s volleyball team.
