College VBall Transfers recently added a tweet on its official X account showcasing Mendelson’s profile in the trading block. The tweet carried the caption, “Name: Maggie Mendelson. Position: Middle Blocker. Class: Junior. Current team: Nebraska.” Mendelson stands at 6’5” inches and added more bulk to the already staunch Nebraska Huskers defense.

Owing to her height, Mendelson played the center and forward position for the basketball team of Nebraska. While the volleyball season is already over, the basketball season is still ongoing and the Nebraska Huskers are currently sixth in the Big Ten Conference. While her loss will hit the volleyball team, the wound will be deeper for the basketball team.

Maggie Mendelson was a reserve volleyball player for the Nebraska Huskers. On the other hand, she got admitted to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on a basketball scholarship. Nonetheless, Mendelson was a national player of both volleyball as well as basketball. Unfortunately, Mendelson isn’t the only athlete leaving Nebraska Volleyball.
