Since the beginning of the NCAA Volleyball Championship, it has been estimated that two of the competing teams would face each other in the finals. Nebraska vs. Wisconsin was among the most anticipated showdowns in the annals of collegiate wrestling. But something unexpected happened as Wisconsin’s volleyball team lost the semi-final showdown to Texas, which will face Nebraska Huskers in the upcoming National Championship.
However, there are other reasons why collegiate volleyball is breaking the internet. Recently, 5 Big NCAA volleyball players have made it to the spotlight as all of them have been added to the transfer portal for the next season. But why have these players been added to the transfer portal?

Every year, a series of players are added to the list as the new recruitment class opens. The primary reason is to add new players to the team. This year, more than five Big NCAA volleyball players have been added to the transfer portals of different volleyball teams.

College Vball announced these transfers on their Twitter account. While addressing Natalia Foster’s transfer, they penned, “𝗜𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹: Natalie Foster: Middle Blocker: Grad Student: Wichita State: @nat_1050.”
Natalie Foster
Wichita State’s Natalie is a middle blocker and daughter of Michigan Technological University’s graduate, Heidi Foster.

Taylor Landfair
One of the most shocking revelations in the dynamic world of collegiate volleyball is of Taylor Landfair. Even though she has two years of eligibility remaining, she is being added to the transfer portal. Although the reason behind adding her to the transfer portal is not apparent, it is mainly due to her deteriorating performance this season.

Ella Wrobel
The next on the list is one of the best performers on the Wisconsin Badgers. Ella’s limited career with Badgers is mainly due to her injuries and health problems. She played a total of nine matches back in 2022 when she was a freshman. In addition to this, she also recorded 11 kills and a remarkable .182 hitting percentage.
