On being asked, “What does it mean to be playing for a national championship with this team?” Allick replied, “It’s everything, man. You know, I dreamed about this when I was young and I told Coach that I wanted this.” She also added an extra dynamic to her answer by saying, “But now it’s for my girls. I have gained so many new best friends, and these women care about me, man, and it feels good that I get to go attack something that you dream about with people who genuinely support you.”
