Wondering where all the magic happens? The Oregon Volleyball team trains at the Matthew Knight Arena, which opened up on January 13, 2011. So, what makes this place special? Well, it’s on track to be the first NCAA arena with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification! That’s a big deal for green buildings, and if you stroll around the main concourse by the West entrance, you’ll spot a cool kiosk showing off all the eco-friendly features.

And there’s so much more! This arena has four times the toilets compared to Mac Court—yep, over 130 women’s toilets, 65 for men, and 4 family ones. Foodies, rejoice! There are over 50 spots to grab grub and drinks across 20 locations. Plus, there are 200 TVs all around, with 100 of those in the concourses, so no one misses out on any action.

Logistics? They’ve got that covered too, with four loading dock bays and enough space to turn a 70-foot truck around underground. The roof trusses stretch a whopping 260 feet long, and the theme here? All about that “pioneer spirit” and “people-powered” feel! And with all that training in this arena, they’ve racked up some impressive records and achievements!
