“Why Would I Faze Him?” Megan Rapinoe Shut Down Questions about One-On-One Conversation with Former President Donald Trump Long Ago

Raising the bar higher, Megan Rapinoe made the soccer game more fun for the viewers. The recipient of the famous Ballon d’Or Féminin award, Megan is an undeniable force in the field. Her skills as a soccer player are exceptional. Having debuted at the international event at 18, Megan registered herself as one of the greatest soccer players.

It’s not just the field that Megan restricts herself to. Megan never misses a chance to voice her opinion because of her activism and bold nature. When expressing her opinion on Trump, Megan always has a lot to share. But will she ever sit with Trump for a one-on-one?

Will Megan sit for a talk with Trump?

On Anderson Cooper’s show, Megan said she wants to sit down and talk with only those politicians who “believe in the same things that we believe in.” On being asked whether or not it’s her responsibility to at least try and talk with him, Megan had a point to make.

Expressing her point, she said, “I’m not going to be naive and think that I’m going to sit down with Trump.” She knows sitting down with Trump for a conversation will not make him change his mind. Substantiating further, she adds the fact that “children locked up at the border” is “not fazing him.”

She then puts a question forward, “So why would I faze him?” Referring to herself as “a walking protest,” Megan always voices her opinion against issues she deems fit.

The intense exchanges between ex-US President Trump and USWNT star Megan are not new to the public. They hold opposing views. Accounting Trump for his poor administration and mismanagement, Megan time and again has held his administration under the radar.

On one such exchange, President Trump made a big goof-up. Mistaking a student of the same name to be the soccer star, Trump, in an honest mistake, ended up tagging the wrong Megan. The poor student ended up getting a lot of uncalled attention. Getting all the notifications, she was like, ‘”Oh my God, I’m going to jail?”
