Recently in an interview, she complimented an interviewer and said, “I’m very jealous of your hair. That looks amazing. I want to shave my head so bad”. (The interviewer had a buzz cut)

As the star player expressed interest in shaving her head, the interviewer asked, “Why don’t you?” Rapinoe further replied, “I’m still scared. I’m scared that I’m going to look like a hard-boiled egg with a mouth.”

I’ve been bleaching my hair for 10 years, and now there’s pink on top of it and it ends up looking like this [gestures] most of the time. I’m like, Well, here we are”.

The soccer star further talked about her book club that was going to write. She is not an avid reader, but she likes to read if the topic or the entity excites her. Moreover, she expressed that she prefers to read non-fiction, just like she is obsessed with documentaries.
