Megan Rapinoe, one of the most prominent names in the soccer world, doesn’t seem to slow down anytime soon. That level of energy and enthusiasm towards the sport is remarkable. Notably, apart from her soccer expertise, she is also an elite activist. The athlete is always ready to take a stand for what’s right. Megan entered the USWNT back in 2006, but it was only in 2011 that she could contribute to the team’s World Cup performance.

They played against the Netherlands and brought back the trophy scoring 2-0. Although Megan’s hamstring injury didn’t let her perform in the semifinals, she put all the unused effort into the finals and made six noteworthy goals.
The team’s glory and celebration period continued for a prolonged time, since it was their fourth World Cup. It involved a ticker-tape parade, which was conducted in New York City just a couple of days after their triumph.

But now it was getting difficult for the soccer star to get back to normal life after being hyped for so many days. Megan, in fact, even spoke about this in an interview.
“How long can we be drunk for? To go through such a high – there is obviously a comedown and nobody really has the time to decompress,” said soccer enthusiast Megan Rapinoe. “I think everyone feels in this state of ‘Yes, this is awesome.’ But I’m also struggling to get back to normal.”
Nonetheless, it turned out to be one of the most sparkling years in her life. She struggled, won, celebrated, and what not. Now what’s uncertain is whether she’ll be taking part in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup or not.
