The track and field world has gleaned glory in recent times because of Noah Lyles. For this runner, blazing down the track at breakneck speed is just another day at the office. However, why should the professional sprinter have all the fun? Every year, New York arranges a one-of-a-kind marathon where runners must cover 26.2 miles around the city.

On Sunday, November 5, over 50,000 participants joined in, representing over 150 nations joined the 2023 New York City Marathon. Although Noah Lyles was not present his presence was felt alongside America’s most decorated track and field athlete Allyson Felix. Other runners took his place. Evans Chebet, who won the Boston Marathon, and Geoffrey Kamworor, joined the marathon. However, there was also an unexpected representation from the fashion industry in 2023.

The Vogue Magazine has always been a beacon of hope for those who want to break barriers in the fashion industry. However, when it comes to capturing the legendary stance of Noah Lyles and Allyson Felix, Vogue often goes above and beyond. Before the start of the 2023 NYC Marathon, Vogue sent the internet into a hyperdrive by sharing the running essentials of Noah Lyles and Allyson Felix.

They posted pictures of the two sprinters on their Instagram page with the caption, “In honor of the New York City Marathon today, we are sharing the tried-and-true running essentials Vogue editors swear by”. Their post highlighted the efficacy of the on-running sneakers, fanny pack, and Lululemon yoga pants for the sprinters’ success.

In the Instagram post, Noah Lyles can be seen taking position for a breathtaking run. He is wearing a navy blue body suit from Adidas, as can be expected from a signed athlete for the brand. Allyson Felix, on the other hand, was clicked while she was running with the American flag hoisted up behind her. Although Vogue’s involvement was enough to send flutters on the internet, the 2023 New York City Marathon had more fashion elements to offer.

Vogue model Indira Scott took a break from the runway to run on the pavements of NYC on Sunday. She started training for the marathon early and showed her determination to complete the course. Speaking to the correspondent from Vogue, Scott said, “This is my first marathon”.

The NYC marathon is a fundraising event, and Indira Scott learned about it earlier this year at the Voices Gala. She wanted to do her part for the community and registered herself for the run.

Her training began in the summers and had to avoid her favorite sweet treats for quite a while. “When I eat sugar or certain heavier foods, I find it really hard to have a good run,” said the beautiful model. She had a lot of fun at the marathon and might even make it an annual event in her calendar. In the meantime, Noah Lyles and Allyson Felix are training hard for the next season. This picture tribute from Vogue will surely bolster their spirits.
