The Paris Olympics track and field events are finally upon us. Now that gymnastics and swimming even are nearing the final phase, a plethora of track and field events will run all the way until the final day of the Games. Among the many Team USA hopefuls, track stars Noah Lyles and Sha’Carri Richardson carry USA’s Olympic hopes and dreams on their shoulders.

Lyles and Richardson will compete against the best sprinters in the world in marquee events such as the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay. It’s easy to lose your way in the crowd of events if you’re just planning to watch Richardson and Lyles. Yet, you don’t need to worry because we’ve got you covered.

Noah Lyles steps on the track of Stade de France on Saturday, August 3rd. However, US fans would need to get up early in the morning if they wish to catch their favorite track stars in action. The 27-year-old starts with the Men’s 100m prelim at 04:35 (Washington, DC). The 100m Round follows the prelims at 06:45. Advancing through the first round leads to Day 2.

On August 4th, the World Champion will return for the 100m semi-finals at 15:00. Unfortunately, the Tokyo bronze medalist will barely get a break before the finals at 15:50. The Men’s 200m events start on August 5th, with the prelims at 13:55 and round 1 at 15:25. The 200m semi-finals will be held at 06:30 on August 6th. Lyles will race in the finals on Thursday, August 8th at 14:30.

However, before the 200m finals, Noah Lyles will have to sprint in the first round of the Men’s 4x100m relay at 05:35 on Thursday. The Olympic bronze medalist’s final event will be the Men’s 4x100m finals on August 9th. Yet, before Lyles steps foot on the first-ever purple track at Sha’Carri Richardson will have made her Olympic debut.

The U.S. track star who missed out on Tokyo 2020, starts at 04:35 with the Women’s 100m prelims on August 2nd. The first round follows the prelims at 6:50. On August 3rd the debutant will race inside the Saint-Denis stadium at 13:50 during the semis. If Richardson makes it through, she’ll have a quick turn-around as the finals will happen at 15:20.

Unlike Noah Lyles, the 2023 Women’s 100m and 4x100m champion will get sufficient rest before returning to the competition on August 8th. You can catch the Texas native during the 4x100m relay round 1 at 05:10. The world champion will close the curtains on August 9th Women’s 4x100m relay finals at 13:30.
