Recently, a sports and entertainment page named Pubity shared a post on their Instagram account featuring the new record created by Ida Keeling. 100-year-old Ida accomplished a remarkable feat at the Vancouver Invitational Track and Field Meet. She made the fastest 100-meter dash time by a woman over 80 by completing the race within 1 minute and 17 seconds.

Though this is not the first time for this ‘young’ athlete. Previously, Keeling held the record for the fastest time in the 60-meter dash for U.S. women of her age. Evidently, there’s no stopping her. In fact, at this age, she is deceiving her age and looking forward to making history. Keeling’s strong resilience caught the eye of Richardson, and the starlet couldn’t resist but share Pubity’s post on her Instagram, appreciating the athlete.

While putting Keeling’s video on her story, Sha’Carri wrote“Motivation that I’m doing this for me.” Indeed the diva gained motivation from the 100-year-old athlete for whom age is just a number.
