The 24-year-old American sprinting star Kenny Bednarek also famously known as Kung Fu Kenny gave a commendable performance at the Diamond League 2023 on the 8th of September. Creating the season’s best record, he secured a well-deserved win edging out Great Britain’s Zharnel Hughes.

Starting from lane seven, Kung-Fu Kenny ran a charismatic bend to attain victory with 19.79 seconds. Following him was Hughes securing the second position at 19.82. With this another feather in the hat, Bednarek booked his place in next weekend’s Eugene Diamond League Finals. He expressed, “I already knew that if tonight I ran a perfect race that I was gonna get the win and I did.”?

This confidence is one of the reasons for him getting up the stairs of success. With his multiple achievements in 200m, 400m, sub-20s, and many more, the athlete is moving in the right direction.
