Brock Lesnar may not be the only strong link in his rich family lineage, it seems like. The 46-year-old’s daughter has had her fair share in the limelight, and that’s not all. She boasts a vivid sporting repertoire as well. An impressive 18.53-meter throw earned Brock Lesnar’s daughter Mya Lesnar her first NCAA Championship title in March 2024. While the Beast Incarnate remains in shadows these days, he was captured hugging his daughter after she threw a shot put and clocked in 19.07 meters at the Mines Alumni Classic.

Despite a dominating WWE career, the Beast Incarnate always took pride in being called Mya’s father. And the Colorado State University student left no stone unturned to make her father proud. Earlier this year, she recorded a 19.08 meter throw to rank second in America. It looks like she is branching out now, and a Paris Olympics showing might be in her repertoire from the looks of it. Now, she is eying for a spot in the biggest sporting extravaganza in the world! Lesnar might have yet another reason to flex his chest, swelling with pride.

Mya Lesnar to feature at the US Olympic Trials

According to the USATF official website, Brock Lesnar’s daughter is on the list of qualified athletes for the US Olympic Track and Field Trials. However, to earn a spot in the Paris Games, the 22-year-old will have to face fierce competition on June 28. She is on the declared list, however time will tell what stiff contenders she will be confronted with. Will the sinew of her hands grappling the shot put clinch the gold?

While her mark of 19.10m ranks her sixth in the qualified athlete’s list, Mya Lesnar will have to cover some more distance to live her American dream. Her competition at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon will be pitted against the likes of two-time World Champion Chase Jackson, Tokyo Games silver medalist Raven Saunders, and the NCAA collegiate record holder Jaida Ross for the upcoming quadrennial event. So a little liquid luck and pure steely resilience will enshrine her in shot put glory, even so against formidable contenders like the aforementioned who are impeccable in their own right.

Brock Lesnar rejected the Olympics to pursue a WWE career

The Beast Incarnate’s career showcased dominance even before he joined WWE in 2000. In a conversation with pro wrestling insider Dave Meltzer in the same year, Lesnar revealed winning the NCAA championship lifted a big weight off his shoulders. He revealed winning the NCAA Championship was his ultimate goal. Had he finished second in the tournament, he would have taken a shot at the Olympics. He even became somewhat pensive and proclaimed that -“I think once I achieved my ultimate goal in my life which was being a national champion, I think that decided it for me.” 

Bidding adieu to his Olympic dreams goodbye, Brock Lesnar chose to chart greener pastures with the WWE. While he may have failed to achieve what Kurt Angle did back in his career, it seems his daughter Mya Lesnar would fight her way to the Olympics.
