After securing a standout victory in the NCAA, Mya Lesnar, daughter of wrestling icon Brock Lesnar, is gearing up to conquer the realm of track and field. Mya recently made headlines with her recent NCAA indoor shot put title for Colorado State University. This could not have missed the eyes of 2023 world champion shot putter Chase Ealy.

Chase Ealy recently sat for a heart-to-heart conversation with Noah Lyles for the latter’s YouTube channel. There Ealy came up with her piece of guidance for the budding talent.

In the conversation, Noah asked Ealy if she knew Mya. To this, she replied that not only did she know her, but had also said a word or two to Mya regarding her future course of career. While Mya’s NCAA victory is commendable, Ealy showed her the other side that deals with the pro world. Recalling her conversation, Ealy said, “I said that’s that college stuff…no one cares if you’re an NCAA champion when you go pro…like no one cares.” Noah also agrees to that. Then what matters? Ealy answered that as well to Mya.

According to Ealy, she drove Mya to the National Championships. Ealy explained. “I said…you need the experience…coz, once you graduate if you trying to get on the circuit, having the experience of just going to National Championships, is good…even if don’t  do anything there…you need to feel how it feels against the best in the country.” Interestingly, Noah even said he thought Mya should show up in the Olympic trials. To this Ealy jokingly said, “If she doesn’t go to Olympic trials, I will punch her!” These talks are not overestimates going by Mya’s recent achievements.
