The audience welcomed the ‘fastest man in the world’ at ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ with thunderous applause. The current 100m and 200m world record holder Noah Lyles chatted with the host Kelly Clarkson. He is only the second person to win a triple gold at the World Championships after Usain Bolt.

Noah Lyles has already qualified for the Paris Olympics to represent Team USA, and that too in style. Clocking in at 19.53s at the Olympic Trials, he smashed the 28-year-old U.S. trial record and is now counted on to secure a gold medal in the 200m category for the USA in the upcoming Olympics. Back in the 2021 Olympics, Lyles won a bronze medal in the 200m category and has since continued his phenomenal strides in the 200m category. Imagine what if he weren’t as fast as he is?

Lyles stated, “For me its kind of like everyday scenario. I grew up with the idea that I was the fastest man in the world, or I was going to achieve it eventually”. This is the finest example of manifestation. Lyles showed his calm and down to earth persona whilst sitting across Clarkson appearing on her talk show.

Kelly tickled a funny bone when she suggested, “Can you imagine if you were slow.. It’s like me in your family, that would be funny”. Ending up leaving Lyles and the audience in splits.

A quick refresher for newcomers here: Jearl Miles ran the 400m and 800m categories for women. She held an American record for the 800m with 1.56.40s. Hazel Clark competed in the 800 m on the US Olympic team in 2000, 2004, and 2008. Joetta Clark competed in the long-distance races of 1500m and 800m and was a four-time Olympian with the 1988, 1992, 1996, and 2000 games.

Lyles journey is also an incredible advocate of how impressive genetics can be for an individual. Moreover, growing up around a family that encourages athleticism. Lyles admitted his family was close to the Clarks and the Miles.

Lyles added, “We’re really close to the Clarks and the Miles family. Jearl Miles, Hazel Clark, Joetta Clark, and then they’re all trained by their brother, J.J Clark…And then my parents were both runners as well and world champions and stuff like that. Again, I just thought running is in your blood.”

Lyles has also revealed while on the show that he aims to get 4 gold medals from the Paris Olympics home. Noah will be seen competing in the 100m category, his niche 200m category, 4x100m relay and perhaps looking to compete in 4x400m relay as well. If Noah wins the 4 golds, he would level fellow American Carl Lewis’ record from 1984 Olympics.
