Impressing Logan Paul is no easy feat, but Andrew Glaze managed to do just that. Glaze, a runner from the United States, recently participated in the LA Marathon and quickly gained viral attention. His daring stunt of running the marathon dressed as a PRIME mascot caught the eye of none other than Logan Paul himself. Paul expressed disbelief that someone could run a marathon wearing a PRIME costume under the scorching LA sun.

Despite the challenge, Andrew Glaze’s passion for running knows no bounds, and he eagerly embraces any obstacle in his path. As the world looks on in admiration, let’s take a closer look at everything about Andrew Glaze.

Andrew Glaze: The man who won the PRIME challenge

Logan Paul recently shared a video of a runner running in a PRIME costume at the LA Marathon. Introducing the runner as Andrew Glaze, Paul heaped praises and also made his fans aware of Glaze’s running prowess. Interestingly, Glaze started running not out of passion but out of compulsion. In an interview with Runspirited, Glaze pointed out that he joined the gym and began running to get rid of his unhealthy lifestyle, which consisted of heavy drinking and smoking.

Speaking about his training regime, Glaze stated that he does not follow a set pattern. He will just run until I’m done.” In fact, Glaze often goes well beyond the extremes, running for well over 50 miles at a stretch sometimes. Keeping a tab of his progression, Glaze stands at 191 weeks of 100 miles running at an average as of November 12, 2023. 

After serving as a firefighter, Glaze suffered from severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and running was his only way out. He said, “For me, running long distances quiets my mind and puts me into a state of where my brain stops thinking about things that I don’t want it to think about. I find it super peaceful.” However, it was Logan Paul who found this gem and challenged him to be a part of his advertising masterstroke.

Logan Paul and his PRIME campaign goes viral

In the Instagram update, Logan Paul revealed that he approached Glaze as part of a sponsorship deal. However, while both Glaze and Paul were unsure about its execution, Glaze ultimately made the dream a reality and finished his run within 4:18:00. This was a Logan Paul advertising masterstroke as in the video it was evident that Glaze garnered a lot of eyeballs.

Fellow runners were spotted taking selfies and in turn, promoting PRIME to a larger audience. However, after the event, Logan Paul extended his gratitude to Glaze stating that the suit was very much uncomfortable and running four hours wearing it required significant courage.
