Could Quincy Wilson and Solai Russell become the next power couple in the track and field world?

Quincy Wilson turned heads when he showed up in a white Rolls Royce Ghost for a homecoming event on Sunday. Wilson shone with a tan tuxedo jacket with black pants and posed alongside the $350,000 ride. He also sported a black bowtie and a pair of sunglasses. But his dazzling looks weren’t the only reason he got social media chirping about. He had shown up to the homecoming with a special date.

After his gold medal success in Paris, Wilson has been highly touted by colleges as he looks to kick-start his NCAA career. Thus, the anticipation of the fans to know the answer is growing. However, this is not the only thing fans have been speculating about him. People have been eager to know about his personal life too and they got a glimpse of that on Sunday.

Wilson appeared with his high school classmate, Solai Russell for the homecoming. Solai is a 15-year-old track athlete herself and has competed in numerous competitions at the school level. Not only that, she has managed to build up a steady audience on her social media accounts too. Solai has almost 7k followers on her TikTok account and has 180.1k likes.

On Instagram, she has around 7,600 followers, and with consistent activity, she could gradually build a larger following. Her connection to Quincy Wilson, who seems on the path to stardom, is also a significant boost. But Quincy isn’t the only athlete Solai is connected to—she’s the younger sister of Masai Russell, the 100m Olympic hurdles gold medalist, who is nine years older than her.

Solai and Wilson’s association might also explain the latter’s appreciation of Masai some time ago. After the end of Athlos, Masai posted on Instagram, talking about how her rookie season has been a dream as she won a gold medal and all. Quincy posted this on his story, saying, “The definition of overcoming adversity! Stayed focused and got the job done! super proud of you, big sis!”

Interestingly, all three of them have attended Bullis School in Maryland. While Quincy and Solai have yet to graduate, Masai did so in 2018. Solai recently lit up social media when she arrived in style for the homecoming alongside Wilson.

She wore a strapless metallic green dress with a pair of golden heels and a corsage. Wilson posted photos from the event on his Instagram and it received love from Solai’s mother and sister.
