Competing in the international circuit, Broeders’ personal best scores include 5.82m in 2023 Torun, and 5.85m in 2022 Merzig. 

The 29-year-old also finished fourth at the 2016 European Championships in Amsterdam. However, one of the biggest highlights of his career came while competing in the second Diamond League of 2024.
