Lilian continues to manage their three children and their farm, allowing Evans to focus more on his running while she takes care of the household. He mentioned utilizing the prize money to assist his family members in purchasing new homes for enhanced comfort. Additionally, he disclosed investing in upgraded training facilities in his hometown in Kenya, aiming to broaden opportunities for aspiring athletes. He got into running through his nephew Isaac; that was his key moment in life. Evans used to help his family but had to leave school due to the responsibility. His mother, who works in a small restaurant, only has praises for her son. Evans says, “I go home to Kondabilet. My family gives me their blessings. We pray. And then I meet with my mother, and she always tells me, ‘You need to go and give your best because you know where you’ve come from.'” From this, it’s clear what the reason for his wonder is that he shines on the track!!!
